| Management
principle |
| We deliver smile and trust with eggs
that customers prefer. |
 |
| Company policy |
At present, the trust of consumers for food has been
lost due to fraudulent labeling and
disguised products. To deliver "safe, reassuring,
fresh and delicious" eggs to customers,
we at Isogaya Chicken Farm have established a quality
control system that takes full
advantage of integrated direct-sales system and is traceable
using HACCP methods.
All chicken excrement taken out of the house is used
to make fully ripe organic
fertilizers at a fermentation plant on the farm, which
are used in local Nasu Kogen
Vegetable fields, for environment-friendly, recycling-oriented
agriculture.
We will always dedicate ourselves and strive every day
to make eggs that customers
will choose.

| Sanitation
management (in pursuit of reassurance) |
From baby chick to adults, we breed them by hand and
with tender care. To have the
chickens lay safe and delicious eggs, top priority is
placed on minimizing stress on
chickens, not to mention prevention of diseases, with
feed, water, light and fresh air
controlled by computer around the clock to maintain
an optimum environment.
All vehicles entering the farm are also checked stringently
to prevent bacteria from
entering.
We are making efforts to prevent outbreak of diseases
by taking blood samples every
month and inspecting egg quality every week. Additionally,
an affiliated veterinarian
makes periodic rounds on all chicken houses.
Also, as a means to prevent salmonella bacteria, which
is in the news, from entering
the farm, we feed chickens with salmonella-checked feeds.
Because these feeds are
mixed at feed manufacturing plants with specified raw
materials as base, we carry out
inspection for residual agricultural chemicals, coliform
bacteria and salmonella
bacteria, and only use feeds that have passed certain
safety standards. |
 |
| Egg collection
and excrement disposal |
Eggs from all chicken houses are collected to the center
of the farm as instructed by the
computer. Although connected to chicken houses, this
area is free of odor and flies,
which we suppress by removing chicken excrement from
chicken houses everyday.
The chicken excrement is used to make fully ripe manure
at a fermentation plant on
the farm, to be utilized in local vegetable fields as
fully ripe organic fertilizers. |
 |
| "We deliver
safe eggs to consumers" |
We deliver our eggs to TAKANO everyday in large refrigerator
trucks. During
transport, driver makes sure that there will be no shock
on the eggs, while paying
attention to the internal temperature.
From farm to table, we are striving to maintain the
good taste and safety of eggs
together with TAKANO.
Since eggs are alive and extremely sensitive to temperature
difference, safe and
reassuring eggs can be delivered only because everyone
involved with eggs takes great
care. |
